**Job Overview:** APTIM is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team of engineering professionals serving our Government and Commercial programs. Our highly skilled multi-discipline teams of professionals are strategically located throughout the United States and abroad to efficiently provide safe and sustainable solutions to complex challenges faced by government, public institutions, and commercial clients. This is a **temporary** position. **Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:** + Work activities include collection and interpretation of engineering data, development of project design basis, development of specifications, and performance of detailed engineering. + Ensures conformance to applicable engineering codes and standards as well as company policies and procedures. + Is aware of costs and schedule related to own work. + Organizes own work to meet deadlines set by others. + Communicates information, asks questions and checks for understanding. + Contributes to a team environment **Basic Qualifications:** + In process of Bachelors or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering + Has basic knowledge of theories, practices and procedures in electrical engineering. + Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and technical engineering software, some CADD experience along with good verbal and writing skills. + FE and EIT candidates preferred. + Ability to work independently and in a diverse team setting + Willingness to work across Engineering disciplines + Strong multitasking skills + Strong problem-solving skills **ABOUT APTIM** APTIM is committed to accelerating the transition toward a clean and efficient energy economy, building a sustainable future for our communities and natural world, and creating a more inclusive and equitable environment that celebrates the diversity of our communities.
