The DODIN Joint Warfighter Capabilities department’s (N242) mission is to enable DoD technology and information superiority through a work program that is focused on providing rapid & resilient cloud capabilities, reimagining the Global DoD Network, and modernizing legacy C2 & communications.

Job Responsibilities:

RF Spectrum Data Analysis: Assist in processing RF spectrum data from various test events using MATLAB/Python, ensuring completeness and developing metrics and tools for further analysis.RF Spectrum and Propagation Modelling: Contribute to the development of propagation and interference models, simulating scenarios to assess the impact on communication systems.Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and documentation of findings, methodologies, and progress for review by senior engineers and project stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

Must be a student enrolled full-time in an accredited degree-seeking program in Electrical Engineering or a related degree and continue to be enrolled full-time the semester following the internship.Sustained excellence in academic performance.Experience preparing, analyzing, modeling, and visualizing data with tools such as Python and MATLAB.Understanding of SATCOM or RF engineering principles, including link budget analysis, spectrum analysis, and propagation modeling.Ability to obtain and maintain secret clearance.

Preferred Qaulifications:

Should be adaptable, collaborative, a self-starter, curious and interested in learning about the sponsor mission and government.Experience having applied electrial engineering to an internship or research/lab position .Active Secret Clearance
