**What you will do:**
As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will work closely with experienced engineers on real-world projects that impact the development of Hyster-Yale’s advanced material-handling equipment. This internship will provide hands-on experience in electrical engineering principles, testing, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities include:
+ Assisting engineers in the development of Three-Wheel Stand and Order Selector programs.
+ Troubleshooting existing forklift trucks by diagnosing and resolving electrical system issues.
+ Gaining hands-on experience with analog circuit analysis, motors, harnesses, and multimeters.
+ Learning to operate forklift trucks to better understand their electrical systems.
+ Working collaboratively with engineers on design improvements and efficiency optimization.
+ Supporting engineers with routine tasks to improve departmental efficiency.

**What you will need:**
+ Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
+ Standing as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in college.
+ Basic engineering knowledge (analog circuit analysis, motors, harnesses, and multimeter use) - willingness to learn is key!
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data tracking and analysis.
+ A strong interest in hands-on work and troubleshooting.
