Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to join their team. As an Electrical Engineering Technician, you will be part of the Reliability Test Lab supporting product development and evaluation. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Electrical Engineering Technician
**Location:** Round Lake, IL (Onsite)
**What's the Job?**
+ Conduct electrical, mechanical, and environmental testing and evaluation of electromechanical medical devices.
+ Set up, perform, and monitor testing activities while adhering to safe working procedures.
+ Document and communicate test results accurately and timely to engineering personnel.
+ Participate in product failure analysis and suggest design improvements based on test observations.
+ Design and document testing configurations and create detailed test reports.
**What's Needed?**
+ At least 6 years of hands-on experience in testing, lab, or a related field.
+ Strong understanding of electromechanical systems and ability to identify system abnormalities.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Experience with measurement test equipment and the ability to read engineering drawings and schematics.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and familiarity with environmental testing requirements is a plus.
