Job Description A rapidly growing Electrical Contractor is seeking an Electrical Estimator to support a variety of government agency projects throughout NYC and the surrounding areas. Projects are a mix of commercial office spaces and ground-up residential developments. Responsibilities + Perform detailed quantity take-offs and pricing for cost estimates for all stages of design + Interface with General Contractors and handle construction documents such as RFIs + Conduct site walk-throughs with clients and ensure excellent communication + Price HVAC, Fire Alarm, and solar systems for commercial and ground-up residential projects + Provide detailed take-offs Essential Skills + Estimation + Construction + Electrical + Fire Alarm + Low Voltage + Electrical Construction + Electrical Circuit + Bidding + Commercial Construction + Pricing + Estimating Software Additional Skills & Qualifications + 2-4 years experience for entry-level candidates + 10 years of experience for sr level candidates + Experience supporting commercial and residential project types + Construction field experience overseeing a project and skilled trades on-site + Client-facing experience + Proficiency using estimating software such as Accubid, the person, or Bid2Win + Experience communicating with vendors Work Environment 5 days in office, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm.
