Job Description

A rapidly growing Electrical Contractor is seeking an Electrical Estimator to support a variety of government agency projects throughout NYC and the surrounding areas. Projects are a mix of commercial office spaces and ground-up residential developments.

ResponsibilitiesPerform detailed quantity take-offs and pricing for cost estimates for all stages of designInterface with General Contractors and handle construction documents such as RFIsConduct site walk-throughs with clients and ensure excellent communicationPrice HVAC, Fire Alarm, and solar systems for commercial and ground-up residential projectsProvide detailed take-offsEssential SkillsEstimationConstructionElectricalFire AlarmLow VoltageElectrical ConstructionElectrical CircuitBiddingCommercial ConstructionPricingEstimating SoftwareAdditional Skills & Qualifications2-4 years experience for entry-level candidates10 years of experience for level candidatesExperience supporting commercial and residential project typesConstruction field experience overseeing a project and skilled trades on-siteClient-facing experienceProficiency using estimating software such as Accubid, the person, or Bid2WinExperience communicating with vendorsWork Environment

5 days in office, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm. Equipment and estimating software will be provided and paid for by the company.
