Are you ready to make an impact in the bustling world of electrical contracting? We are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team, specializing in diverse projects for government agencies, commercial spaces, and ground-up residential developments in NYC and beyond.

Position Overview:

As an Electrical Estimator, you'll play a vital role in our growth by generating accurate cost estimates, fostering collaboration with General Contractors, and managing essential construction documents. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a sharp eye for detail, this could be the perfect role for you!



Key Responsibilities:

Perform detailed quantity take-offs and create precise cost estimates at various design stages.Collaborate with General Contractors and manage construction documents, including RFIs.Conduct on-site walk-throughs, ensuring professional communication with clients.Price systems such as HVAC, fire alarms, and solar for a variety of projects.Prepare thorough take-offs to facilitate accurate project costing.

Essential Skills:

Expertise in estimation and pricing for electrical construction.Knowledge of fire alarm and low voltage systems.Solid understanding of electrical circuitry.Familiarity with the bidding process and commercial construction.Proficiency in estimating software.

Qualifications:

3-10 years of estimating experience.Hands-on construction field experience overseeing projects and skilled trades.Strong client-facing skills with effective communication abilities.Experience with estimating software such as Accubid, Esticom, or Bid2Win.

Work Environment:

Full-time in-office role (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5 pm).All necessary equipment and software will be provided.
