Job Title: Electrical Estimator Job Description + We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator with 5 years of experience to join our team. + The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of electrical projects, from initial concept through to completion. + This role requires close collaboration with project managers, engineers, and clients, and entails preparing detailed and accurate electrical estimates for commercial and industrial projects. Responsibilities + Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. + Review and assess bid documents and RFQs (Request for Quotations). + Develop and prepare bid proposals for electrical projects. + Conduct thorough cost analysis to ensure competitive pricing. + Identify cost-saving opportunities and potential risks. + Solicit and review quotes from suppliers and subcontractors. Essential Skills + Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., ConEst, Trimble) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project). + Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and construction methods. + Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills. + Ability to work independently. + Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as required. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in electrical, bidding, MEP, and estimation. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Work Environment + The role involves working in an office environment and occasionally on-site. Candidates should be prepared to travel to project sites as required.
