Job Description

We are looking for an MEP or Electrical Candidate with very strong computer skills. The ideal candidate needs to be familiar with Switchgears and UPS systems as they relate to Data Centers. This position requires 100% travel with a schedule of 3 weeks on-site and 1 week remote. The candidate should have experience in Data Centers and the Electrical field. Training will be provided for specific requirements.

Skills/Qualification

Changing the IP address of a computer to communicate and program equipmentBasic programming of Modbus including setting the IP, Subnet, and Gateway address, generating a new password, setting the baud rate and stop bits, and making basic parameter changesLogging into power monitoring software to generate reports and export dataSetting up a laptop and connecting to PQM (power quality meters) for data recordingInstalling PQM meters on bus bars to record data during load testing and uploading data for reviewTroubleshooting communication issuesRecording and submitting copies of work and validation formsStrong problem-solving abilitiesAttention to detailEffective communication skillsAdaptability to travel and work in different environments

Work Environment

Will be on construction sites, traveling around the country. This position will start at a Microsoft Data Center with a schedule of 3 weeks on-site and 1 week remote.
