Job Posting: Junior Electrician

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with EMT, Aluminum, and galvanized pipe bending, threading, and installation (½\" thru 4\").Support the use of pulling machines, threading tools, hydraulic benders, etc.Assist with the reading and interpreting of electrical drawings, RCPs, elevations, dimensions, etc.Support the wiring and installation of fire alarm systems and devices according to NYC FA Code.Help with data wiring, including Cat6 and RJ45 terminations.Install and wire receptacles, lighting, switching, and dimming systems.Assist in troubleshooting dimming systems and electrical faults (e.g., shorts, poor connections).Help with the installation and servicing of HVAC components like condensing units, air handlers, and condensate pumps.Assist with disconnect switches, End of Line boxes, CT cabinets, Transformers, and meter banks.Work with troughs and wiremolds.Assist with 3-way and 4-way switching installations and troubleshooting.Gain knowledge of electrical panels, live parts, live work, and electrical safety.Perform basic load calculations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Basic understanding of Electrical, Wiring, Blueprint Reading, Pulling Wire, and Conduit Bending.OSHA 30, SST Certified (or willingness to obtain certification).NFPA 70E training (or willingness to complete training).Familiarity with NYC and National Electrical Code.Strong willingness to learn and grow in the electrical trade.Strong work ethic and a commitment to quality work.

Experience Level: Entry to Intermediate (Junior Electrician)

Additional Qualifications:

Ability to work well under the supervision of electricians.Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.Safety-conscious and reliable.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
