The general role of an Electrical Foreman is to lead electrical work and direct the installation, maintenance, and repair of various electrical components within customer locations. This individual will work with both low and high voltage electrical applications, and work in a wide array of industries including Construction, Manufacturing, Power Plants, Commercial, Aggregate, Oil and Gas, Coal, Wind Energy, etc.

 

This position must be flexible and willing to travel with overnight stays and work extended hours as needed. The Electrical Foreman will report to the Department Manager and will work primarily out of their assigned location.

 

What You'll Do Plan and direct day-to-day electrical work as required for the completion of smaller, less complex
projects and assignmentsCoordinate with management to ensure jobs are timely, on-budget, meet code requirements, and
customer needs and expectationsLead teams in installing and testing new equipmentInstall, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial facilitiesInstall basic and more complex electrical components such as motor control centers, transformers,
instrumentation, switch gears, PLC controls, etc.Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical issues, systems, and components with minimal direction
and supervisionRead, follow, and mark up electrical code, manuals, wiring and circuitry diagrams, blueprints,
schematics, and other electrical specificationsProvide detailed paperwork and documentation to ensure accurate record keeping, billing and
inventoryTrain and mentor personnel as required

What You'll Bring 5 years of electrical experience or equivalent/relevant education preferredExperience in Industrial Electrical requiredValid Driver’s License requiredCurrent New Mexico or Colorado Master’s or Journeyman’s License, New Mexico is preferredKnowledge of NEC, electrical theory, and circuitsLeadership and customer service skills

Working Conditions

Walk, crawl or kneel / use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or controls / reach with hands and arms / climb ladders, stairs, or other elevated/ fixed structures for extended periods of timeSit/stand for extended periods of timeLift and/or move up to 75 poundsPerform duties on-site and underground at industrial locationsWear safety equipment: as per OSHA/MSHA/ANSI requirements including but not limited steel toed and/or metatarsal shoes, hard hat, required PPE for elevated work, fire retardant clothing, protective eye wear, etc.Be safety and customer-focused, without exception
