**Job Title: General Foreman** **Job Description** As a General Foreman, you will be responsible for meeting with superintendents and other foremen every morning before the rest of the team arrives. You will play a key role in allocating people and resources daily. Additionally, you will assist in training employees, maintaining daily JSA/JHA logs, tracking attendance, and ordering materials. **Responsibilities** + Allocate people and resources on a daily basis. + Oversee the installation of the solar process from start to finish, including driving piles, Nextracker/Novados installs, and panel installs. + Order materials and coordinate delivery details. + Maintain material inventory. + Oversee all subcontractors working on site and address daily issues. + Handle day-to-day basic operations. + Assist in safety planning and ensure everyone is properly trained before getting on site. **Essential Skills** + Experience as a Solar Foreman. + Experience as a Construction Foreman. + Ability to order materials efficiently. + Proficiency in blueprint reading. + Skilled in contractor and resource allocation. + Experience in conducting daily meetings. + Knowledge in electrical leadership. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with solar installation. + Experience with solar panel installation. **Why Work Here?** This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a 60-90 day long solar project that has the potential to turn into a long-term career. This is an outside construction environment, and you will work in most weather conditions, excluding lightning and heavy snow. There is a clubhouse on site for daily meetings and a few offices. The role involves working both in the office and in the field. The working hours are Monday to Saturday, with overtime and weekly pay. Per diem is offered. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Albion, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $50000.00/yr. They will be doing a close out project in the solar field in Albion, MI.
