Job Title: Electrical Hardware DesignerJob Description Scope of Work: Projects currently supporting: Stellantis (Chrysler) Retooling for transmission, consisting of conveyors, tooling stations, cells for exhaust systems, GM Powertrain Assembly, test, BIW assembly for Ford, GM, and Stellantis, relocation stations, and new tooling lines for Cummins. Day to Day: This is a 100% on-site role. Responsibilities include daily/weekly meetings with engineering teams to determine the scope of work and deliverables, creating drawings from references and from scratch for existing and new tooling lines and automation lines, and creating electrical drawings in AutoCAD Electrical and Eplan for panel design, panel layout, fluid power drawings, hydraulic, and pneumatic controls. Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Wixom, Michigan. Work Environment Cubicle-style work environment with computer monitors. The manufacturing floor is roughly 50k sq ft and is currently very filled with a multitude of projects. You will work directly with controls engineers and hardware controls engineers to come up with solutions to projects. There is flexibility to work from home on certain occasions.
