Electrical Hardware Test Engineer

Ford EVDD is responsible for developing the key technologies and capabilities – such as EV platforms, batteries, e-motors, inverters, charging and recycling – to create ground-up, breakthrough electric vehicles. Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 2-7 years experience as a Hardware Engineer or Hardware Test Engineer. Experience in hardware bring-up and test automation. Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize End of Line testers for production reliability. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Develop and execute comprehensive component level test plans for high voltage power electronics including Onboard Charger, DC-DC, High Voltage BMS and Charge Controllers. Design, troubleshoot and maintain End of Line (EOL) component level testers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on hardware validation and failure analysis. Support homologation test planning and execution.
