Job Description
This candidate will be responsible for working with a Lead Technician in helping install and service fire alarm systems. You will be responsible for tasks ranging from bending conduit, pulling wire, and fetching tools. You will be in front of customers, so you must represent yourself and the company well.
ResponsibilitiesServicing (repair and testing) primarily of existing commercial fire alarm and suppression systems.Perform minor service work on fire extinguishers and range hoods.Troubleshoot systems and make necessary repairs.Assist on project installations occasionally as needed.Essential SkillsExperience with bending conduit.Electrical or low voltage experience.Additional Skills & Qualifications1+ years of electrical commercial experience.Why Work Here?
Enjoy a 7am-4pm shift with plenty of work. The company promotes growth from within and offers a pay increase after 6 months and then annually. A pay increase will be given after 6 months if attendance and skills are proven.
Work Environment
The position offers a $20/hr rate. After 6 months, you can be hired on and will receive a pay increase based on attendance and skills. You will work from 7am to 4pm, reporting to the shop each morning and then riding along with a lead technician. The role involves all commercial work/buildings. Timeliness and reliability are crucial.
