Key Responsibilities:

 

Install, configure, and test electrical distribution equipment, switchgear, transformers, and other electrical infrastructure as per project specifications and local electrical codes. Install, calibrate, and commission instrumentation and control systems, including sensors, transmitters, controllers, and SCADA systems. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems, including troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of components. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards, including Bureau Veritas' health, safety, and environmental policies. Maintain detailed records of all installation, testing, and maintenance activities, and provide reports to the project management team. Collaborate with the project engineering team to resolve technical issues and implement design changes as needed. Provide on-site training and support to junior technicians and operators. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, best practices, and industry regulations related to solar PV electrical and instrumentation systems.

 

 

Qualifications and Experience:

 

Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation installation, testing, and maintenance, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry. Strong knowledge of electrical principles, instrumentation, and control systems, including PLC programming and SCADA systems. Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical and instrumentation drawings, schematics, and specifications. Certified in relevant electrical and instrumentation safety standards, such as NFPA 70E and ISA. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and documentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with project stakeholders. Willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
