About the position:\n
The Electrical and Instrumentation Technician is responsible for completing preventative maintenance work and answering emergency calls related to any plant instrumentation or electrical issues. In addition, there are weekly, monthly, and annual inspections that are required to be completed. The technician will also perform basic maintenance on the plantwide fire systems and the Continuous Emissions Monitoring equipment.\n
Requirements:\n\nMinimum of 3 years electrical and electronics\/instrumentation experience in an industrial or chemical process plant.\nGood safety habits and good problem-solving skills.\nGood communication skills.\nMust be a \"team player\".\nBailey Control DCS and Allen Bradley PLC experience are pluses.\nMust be able to work rotating 12-hour shifts to include days, nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.\nMust be able to lift and carry 30 pounds. Surfaces include flat, inclined, lifts, stairs and ladders.\nMust be able to pass a pre-employment physical, background check, and drug screen.\nRegular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.\n\n
Minimum Education:\n\nAssociates Degree in Electrical Engineering or High School Diploma with equivalent experience.\n\n
Responsibilities include:\n\nMaintain all facility instruments, sensors, probes, control loops, and electrical systems.\nPerform scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections.\nMaintain necessary logs and records.\nPerform emergency repairs as needed.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\n
