**Job Title: Electrician** **Job Description - Downtown San Diego - $89,960 a year** As an E&I Technician, you will be responsible for the repair or replacement of valves, level switches, electrical components, and more. You will handle troubleshooting and installation of various instrumentation, including switchbacks on air actuators. You will use process meters, pressure calibrators, temperature calibrators, and flow transmitters, as well as volt simulators to troubleshoot valve signals and motion sensors. **Responsibilities** + Repair or replace valves, instrumentation systems, level switches, and electrical components. + Troubleshoot and install different types of instrumentation. + Use process meters, pressure calibrators, temperature calibrators, and flow transmitters. + Troubleshoot valve signals and motion sensors. + Execute repairs and preventative maintenance as per work order assignments. + Handle controls systems including boiler and motor controls. + Work with VFD, actuator, instrumentation controls, pressure transmitters, flow transmitters, valve automation, flow meters, pressure gauges, level switches, motor controls and sensors, solenoid valves, and pneumatic switches. + Work with electrical systems including 480V and 4160V. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with heavy single-line electrical distribution systems. + Knowledge of boiler controls, motor controls, Rosemount and Fisher control valves, compressed air, HART signaling, and calibration. + Experience in oil & gas industries. + Experience with instrumentation air, relay control logic, HART communicators. + Experience working with 40-20 milliamp signaling, HART signaling, transmitters like Rosemount, and Fisher control valves. + Ability to work around high-pressure steam, instrument air, and compressed processed air. + Experience working on Motor Control Center (MCC) and handling motor failures. **Why Work Here?** We offer excellent employee benefits, including competitive pay, 2 weeks of paid vacation upon becoming full-time, 3 weeks at the 5-year mark, 401k, and pension plans.
