Electrical Journeyman I Description: **Electrical Journeyman I** **$37.64** **International Paper,** a major paper producer is proactively committed to maintaining a leadership role in our industry. Our Red River mill in Campti, LA has a need for a qualified Electrical Journeyman I. **EDUCATION** + Minimum high school graduate or GED equivalent + Electrical applicants must have served 4 years of electrical apprenticeship or helper, and must be a Journeyman Electrician **OR** + Electrical applicants must have one of the following + Electrical technology degree + Certificate from accredited college or trade school + Willing and capable of working all shifts **EXPERIENCE (desired skills)** + Troubleshooting high-voltage and power distribution systems + Troubleshooting AC motors and drives, DC motors and drives + Control systems experience: DCS, PLC’s, and PC’s + Knowledge of electrical schematics and elementaries + Ability to work in team environment **BENEFITS** + Family medical and dental, life insurance, short-term disability, paid holidays and vacation time, retirement and 401K savings plan. **Application Process** Qualified applicants should apply on-line at www.ippaper.com The hiring process for successful candidates will include a pre-employment test, team interview, hands-on test, background check and a health/drug screen.
