BAT FIJI IS LOOKING FOR AN ELECTRICAL LEAD
SENIORITY LEVEL : Non-Management Level
FUNCTION: Operation
LOCATION: Suva, Fiji
ROLE TYPE: Permanent role
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDES:
Ensure all electrical services and support are provided to meet daily production requirements.Develop and execute the maintenance plan for electrical components ensuring all tasks are completed and recorded.Drive continuous improvement processes and support the Stop & Review process to achieve business objectives.Proactively manage all EH&S initiatives to maintain high performance and safety standards.Plan and manage projects and site utilities, ensuring delivery within budget and timeframe.Support the execution of Progressive Maintenance (PM) Pillar Tools and 90-Day Plans to address losses and build capability across the electrical team.Lead issue resolution to root cause on the floor of chronic stops and coach the use of Unified Problem Solving, including 6W2H.Train, Coach and Build capability of electrical team membersQUALIFICATIONS AND ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES:
Diploma in Electrical Engineering discipline with at least 5 years of FMCG experience Strong understanding of electrical and electronics systems Must have relevant PLC experience (eg: Beckhoff, Simens, Omron) and be able to understand electrical diagrams Ability to lead a team and drive culture change Good communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of staff Proficient in troubleshooting knowledge on machines (cigarette maker/packer) will be an added advantageMust have intermediate proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.Understand, follow and ensure compliance with Quality and Safety elementsBENEFICIAL
