Electrical Leader
Job Summary

Directly manages and oversees a team of 10 to 50 electricians, ensuring work meets or exceeds quality and technical standards, and complies with organizational policies and applicable laws.

Job Requirements Associate degree or minimum of 10 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and customer requirements, including OSHA and Ontario Hydro standards. Knowledge of wiring, equipment installation, and inspection processes to meet company and customer specifications. Experience in estimating worker hour requirements and material requisitions for project completion. Understanding of safety and environmental regulations. Preferred Skills Familiarity with electrical system debugging and controls design communication. Proficiency in analyzing and resolving technical work problems. Experience with continuous improvement processes and quality systems. Knowledge of setting up preliminary wiring guidelines and ensuring power availability for equipment. Job Responsibilities Plan, assign, and direct work for the team, ensuring efficient operations and goal achievement. Inspect wiring and fixtures for compliance with specifications and quality standards. Maintain time and build records, monitor project progress, and follow up on material and completion status. Coordinate activities with other departments and leaders to ensure seamless workflow. Mark up layouts, collect cable lengths, and ensure necessary changes are communicated to controls design. Recommend measures to improve build methods, equipment performance, and overall efficiency. Adhere to safety, environmental, and quality regulations and guidelines. Attend meetings and participate in debugging processes and layout adjustments. Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Physical Demands Frequent use of hands, standing, walking, and reaching. Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $24.00 per hour
