Reads and interprets basic wiring diagrams and troubleshoots basic relay logic Troubleshoots and repairs controls related to hydraulic and pneumatic systems Troubleshoots and repairs 120 volt control motor circuits Uses and interprets volt meters, ohm meters, amp meters, and meggers Demonstrates safe work habits and observes all safety rules and procedures including equipment lockout Demonstrates initiative and dependability in attendance and accomplishment of work assignments Demonstrates excellent housekeeping practices in electrical shop and throughout facility Performs other routine duties, such as operating man lifts and forklifts Consistently responds to calls in a timely manner, completes assignments with high quality in a timely manner and completes timesheets properly Consistently exhibits positive attitude, is supportive of Boise Company, sets a good example for other employees, and is a team player committed to making Boise successful Follows Company policies, procedures and safety rules
Basic Qualifications: Job requires skills, including but not limited to:
A basic knowledge of electrical systems Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form Ability to comprehend and interpret basic mechanical prints and schematics of systems Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations without supervision
