THE OPPORTUNITY: The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will provide technical expertise and support to Maintenance and Operating departments. They are focused on planning, designing, and implementing maintenance programs to optimize uptime in the facility. HOW YOU WILL IMPACT SMURFIT WESTROCK: * Functions as a working team member * Utilizes the JDE CMMS as a primary tool of the mill maintenance process. * Train operations and maintenance team members on technical standards, continuous improvement methods related to maintenance and sustainability of basic conditions. * Provides technical direction to team members. * Participates in the installation and commissioning of new equipment. * Locates, order/buy, and specify hardware/software equipment and spares when needed. * Outlines project requirements, assigns tasks and supervises progress to ensure that objectives are being met. * Completes planning and scheduling for assigned areas, coordinating with the operating departments. * Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
