Job Description
Our client, a midstream company, is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Planner in Fort Saskatchewan. Under the general direction of the Field Operations and Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Planner is responsible for creating a 5-year end-of-life plan for existing equipment and identifying obsolescence issues. The Maintenance Planner works with key equipment vendors to create a budget and schedule for required replacements and repairs.
ResponsibilitiesWork with critical equipment vendors to determine obsolescence timeline and issues.Develop a proposed 5-year plan to manage obsolescence with estimates.Identify obsolete parts/equipment in inventory and initiate the divestment process to remove them from inventory. (stretch goal)Liaise with industry peers to identify best practices.Essential SkillsExcellent communications and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple work streams.Ability to risk assess and use risk to help make recommendations.Demonstrates leadership and troubleshooting skills.Strong computer skills, including Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or Enterprise Asset Management software. HxGN EAM experience would be an asset.5+ years of experience in maintenance, specifically with an electrical focus.2-3 years of planning experience.Experience with VFD's, soft starts, motor protection relays, valve actuators, EIM's, actuators on control valves (REXA focused), ESD valves, hydraulic actuators.Detail-oriented.Additional Skills & QualificationsEngineering technologist with VFD and soft start experience (could be considered in lieu of planning and maintenance experience).Experience on the tools, technical diploma or trade certification.Medium voltage experience.Hexagon ERM experience considered an asset.Advantis ERM experience considered an asset.Experience working with key manufacturing vendors.Work Environment
The position is based in the office in Fort Saskatchewan from Monday to Thursday, with Friday being a flex day. Consideration will be given to candidates from the Calgary area who are willing to travel to Fort Saskatchewan as required. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
