Be the piece that brings our projects together! We’re searching for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to support our Night Shift at our Blackwell, OK facility. This role would be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all plant electrical systems and auxiliary equipment. What You'll Do Learn and maintain the variety of electromechanical starters and motors using sophisticated electronic interface boards, VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, and controllers Install, monitor, inspect, troubleshoot, and ensure reliability of all electrical, electronic control systems and components, process equipment, and AC/DC utilities Perform troubleshooting and repair or replacement of defective and damaged parts Be responsible for performing rounds and checking machinery to identify abnormalities and ensure machine functions are working within the normal specifications, taking care to identify the root causes of equipment failure and preventing failures Participate in major failure incident investigations in area of responsibility Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture Ensure that safety rules and requirements are being followed in all work areas Assist in developing other team member’s skills and knowledge Work safely to prevent on the job injuries by following safety rules and regulations at all times including proper wearing of company PPE What You'll Need Minimum 5 years of electrical maintenance experience required Experience with industrial electrical repairs including troubleshooting and repair of A/C - D/C drives and motors, PLC's and 480 Volt 3 phase electrical Experience in manufacturing equipment processes and working knowledge of associated controls Must be able to work outside under all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold temperatures Advanced knowledge of: AC/DC motor and control theory; Troubleshooting ABB, Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC Programming/network configuration; Expert ABB Allen Bradley and Siemens drive knowledge; Electrical controls, NFPA 70E, medium voltage power systems Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, some holidays and overtime Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic and mechanical schematics Decision-making abilities with excellent customer service and both verbal and written communication skills Must practice safe working habits and follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies, rules, and regulations Your Education Minimum 5 years of electrical maintenance experience required OR a 2-year degree in related technical discipline required Training in electrical and electronic instrument control systems and component maintenance preferred.
