Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical maintenance, with a strong focus on troubleshooting, repair, and installation of equipment using PLCs. This position requires a well-rounded technician who is also experienced with pneumatics, hydraulics, or motordrives.
Key Responsibilities:Perform electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment.Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to ensure optimal equipment performance.Inspect, maintain, and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems, as well as motor drives.Diagnose equipment malfunctions and respond to emergencies to minimize downtime.Perform preventive maintenance tasks on electrical equipment and systems.Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents.Work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure all machinery is operating efficiently.Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Technician or similar role.Strong knowledge of PLC systems and their troubleshooting.Hands-on experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, and/or motordrives.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong commitment to safety and compliance.Ability to work independently or as part of a team.High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:3+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.Experience with preventative maintenance programs.Strong communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
