Maintenance Technician
$36-41 / HR | Austin, TX
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.Provide technical support and training to other maintenance staff.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar role.Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.Work Environment:
Clean rooms or production floor.3rd shift; 3-2-2-3 schedule.Occasional heavy lifting.Collaborative team environment.Benefits:

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $76876.80 - $86486.40
Full comprehensive benefits. Good competitive benefits including PTO, 401K, health, vision, dental. Potential for a \"sign-on bonus\" to act as a relocation bonus for candidates out of market
