**Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team in a food manufacturing environment. The focus of this role will be on electrical maintenance and troubleshooting, ensuring the smooth operation of food processing machines and related equipment. **Responsibilities** + Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance and inspections on machinery and equipment. + Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues. + Repair and replace defective or worn-out machine parts. + Collaborate with other maintenance team members to resolve complex machinery or electrical problems. + Assist in the construction and installation of new equipment. + Conduct preventive and reactive maintenance. + Maintain facilities by performing plumbing, painting, carpentry, and other necessary repairs. **Essential Skills** + Industrial maintenance experience. + Electrical maintenance including 3-phase motors, 240-480V, relays, PLC, resistance, and switches. + Mechanical maintenance involving pumps, motors, belts, pulleys, and conveyors. + Experience with VFDs. + Ability to read schematics and blueprints. + Experience with running conduit in a wet environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + TIG welding on stainless steel. + Experience with refrigeration and copper refrigeration tubing. + Knowledge of HVAC systems. + Experience in food manufacturing. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic and supportive team in a growing food manufacturing company. Candidates must be open to working both 1st and 2nd shifts. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Morton, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
