We have opportunities for Electrical Maintenance Technicians to join our Maintenance team in Wrexham on a 5 team shift rota. The role will be at our production facility and involve the following:
Qualifications/Experience
Electrical
PLC, Instrumentation and Electronic drives.Using software to interface or diagnose faults on plant and machinery.Maintenance on large AC and DC motors.Machine and Plant lock off proceduresDuties/Responsibilities
Risk assessment and safety awareness, guarding of machinery legislation.Developing and implementing modifications to improved reliability of plant and machinery.Working as a team with manufacturing and maintenance colleagues.Ability to communicate effectively.Working to a continuous shift pattern with necessary overtime to cover holidays.Adherence to Health & Safety with absolute priority.Lifting and handling plant and machinery components using appropriate equipment and techniques.MS Office or equivalent.Ability to read technical drawings.Minimum of BTEC ONC level in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or proven experience.The Person
Time served with experience in all aspects of electrical maintenance engineering.
Completed a recognised, certificated industrial apprenticeship in Electrical Maintenance.Significant experience in an industrial maintenance field.Self-starter, proactive, prepared to take the initiative and work without direct supervision.Work well under pressure.Practical approach.Team player.Flexible attitude to overtime and shift coverWorking Hours and Benefits
