Job Description

We are currently looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician for our manufacturing facility in Derry, Pennsylvania. Our Electrical Maintenance Technicians are part of a highly skilled team that is critical to ensuring equipment and systems are fully operational for continuous production and to consistently meet production goals.

ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive, predictive, and emergency electrical maintenance on a variety of electrical and electronic systems including motors, controls, power supplies, AC/DC theory, power distribution, PLC's, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, power transmission, pumps, cranes, mobile equipment, etc.Troubleshoot and determine corrective action, install, repair, and maintain a wide variety of electrical and electronic systems.Follow all safety practices and rules to ensure equipment is operating in a safe manner.Implement process improvements and methods that will increase effectiveness and efficiencies.Use standard and specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to properly assess and troubleshoot issues.Interpret electrical schematics, understand technical manuals, and follow written instructions.Maintain accurate records of projects including machine assembly, startup, and installation.Participate in daily meetings, prioritizing and reviewing the daily schedule of work.Operate forklifts, man lifts, cranes, etc.Work in a variety of plant areas/departments, environmental conditions (hot, cold, dirty, etc.), and perform work at various heights and within some confined spaces.Work overtime as needed, including other shifts and weekends.Essential Skills2 Years of Industrial Maintenance experienceExperience working with motors, controls, power supplies, and AC/DC TheoryExperience working with Power distribution, VFD's, and PLC'sStrong troubleshooting skills and ability to determine corrective actionsAbility to quickly learn manufacturing equipment/systems and maintenance programsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Allen-Bradley systemsKnowledge of hydraulics and pneumaticsAbility to interpret electrical schematics and technical manualsProficiency in using standard and specialized tools and diagnostic equipmentExperience operating forklifts, man lifts, cranes, etc.Why Work Here?

Employees will not see anything deducted from their paychecks for medical, dental, and vision coverages. Employees are only responsible for copays and deductibles, with copays ranging between $20-$50 and deductibles at $500 for Individual Coverage and $1,000 for Family Coverage through Blue Cross Blue Shield Highmark. The company contributes $3.15 to the employee’s 401K for every hour worked, both standard and OT hours count. Production bonuses are available every 2 weeks, typically amounting to about $2/hr for every hour worked during that period.

Work Environment

Our Client performs a variety of steel manufacturing procedures, including hot rolling and processing. The work environment is very industrial, involving the manufacturing of specialty sheets of metal, rolled strips of metal, or plates of metal through melting, hot rolling, and slitting. The facility operates on a rotating shift format with shifts changing every week, working 10-12 hour days. Overtime is available after 8 hours of work per day. The shifts are as follows: 1st Shift starts at 6AM, 2nd shift at 2PM, 3rd shift at 10PM, with additional shift differentials of $.30 for the 2nd shift and $.45 for the 3rd shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $57345.60 - $110000.00/yr.

o $0 coverage premiums – Employees will not see anything deducted from their paychecks for any of these 3 coverages.
o Employees are only responsible for copays and deductibles.
 Copays: Between $20-$50, depending on what it’s applied to.
 Deductibles: $500 for Individual Coverage; $1,000 for Family Coverage.
o Provider: Blue Cross Blue Shield Highmark.
• Retirement:
o ATI contributes $3.15 to the employee’s 401K for every hour that they work (both standard and OT hours count).
