**Job Title: Electrical Mechanic** **Job Description** Our client manufactures, sells, rents, repairs, and services pumps for a wide range of applications including construction, mining, agricultural, horizontal drilling, and bypass pumping with capacities from 500 GPM to 150,000 GPM. We are seeking an electrical mechanic to service, troubleshoot, and repair various pumps - Perkins, Mitsubishi, Yanmar, Kubota diesel driven pump systems at our client facility in Troy, NY. Ability to troubleshoot basic hydraulic and 12v electrical systems preferred. **Hard Skills** + Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems with rental equipment + Repair and/or replace defective parts, components, or systems + Troubleshoot and repair Perkins, Mitsubishi, Yanmar, Kubota diesel engines + Test parts and systems to ensure proper performance + Perform regular maintenance work, such as oil changes, lubrication, and filter replacements + Adjust, align, and calibrate systems to ensure proper functioning + Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work + Troubleshoot and repair engines and pumps + Provide customer service and explain repair needs and processes **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Troy, New York. **Work Environment** Small team (5 employees). Shift: M-F, 8:00am - 4:30pm with OT available each week. Working in the shop and in the field on pumps that are coming back in for preventative maintenance and troubleshooting. Must be good with working in heat during summer months and cold during winter. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
