**Job Title: Electrical/Mechanical Assembly** **Job Description** Candidates will be assembling air leak detection equipment, which consists of electrical and mechanical components, including instrumentation tubing and various electrical components. They will utilize blueprints to install all components to the equipment. These units detect leaks in air pressure for various items such as medical equipment and engines. They are tabletop units mostly used by manufacturing companies for in-process quality checks for leaks. This is a 3-month contract with a high probability of extension or permanent placement. **Responsibilities** + Build, calibrate, test, and audit leak test products per specifications and procedures within budgeted hours. + Verify conformance to product specifications, application protocols, and document outcomes. + Perform basic troubleshooting to resolve issues on the production floor and provide feedback for continuous improvement. + Maintain 100% accurate and timely documentation on job hours, BOM/parts used, production data, etc. + Ensure appropriate calibrated instruments and tools are used consistently. + Adhere to ISO-9001 and other applicable quality policies and procedures. + Comply with Environment Health and Safety (EHS) regulations, quality, and compliance policies. + Maintain a clean and organized production area. + Continuously learn and receive training on new products and technology. + Work diligently and efficiently, keeping quality practices in mind. + Maintain a cooperative attitude with team members, leaders, and co-workers. + Work overtime, weekends, and holidays, per business needs. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + 3-5 years of electrical and mechanical experience. + Experience reading blueprints and wiring diagrams. + Basic knowledge of hand tools and usage. + Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing and/or assembly environment. + Knowledge of assembly, electronic, and pneumatic parts. + Ability to use computers to hook up equipment and run software for calibration. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school education or higher; technical or associate degree preferred. + Knowledgeable in reading and understanding drawings or schematics. + Working knowledge of ISO policies and work instructions. + Swagelok certificate on fittings and tubing is desired but not required. + Strong interpersonal skills, including solid oral and written communication. + Motivated to learn new tasks. + Ability to use Microsoft applications. + Ability to identify and escalate problems. + Detail-oriented with the ability to follow up on outstanding tasks. + High level of reliability and accountability. **Why Work Here?** We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment with opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth. The role requires adherence to safety protocols, maintaining a clean and organized production area, and working with various hand tools and calibrated instruments. Dress code is in line with standard manufacturing safety attire. **Job Type & Location** This is a open-ended Contract position based out of Houston, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
