Electrical Package Manager – Data Centres – Groningen
Our client is a €2bn turnover, Tier:1 main contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe. They undertake major, complex schemes with a particular emphasis on Data Centres, Pharmaceutical and Life Science projects
Due to continued growth in the region of their Data Centre projects division, our client is now seeking an experienced Electrical Package Manager.
Responsibilities
Management of Electrical Scope and Deliverables: The Electrical Package Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire electrical scope of the project, ensuring all electrical works are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the project’s specifications. This involves coordinating electrical designs, procuring necessary materials, and ensuring the quality and completion of all electrical systems. Coordination with Contractors and Stakeholders: The Electrical Package Manager serves as the primary point of contact between the electrical contractors, engineers, vendors, and other stakeholders. They manage and communicate project requirements, schedules, and progress, ensuring all parties are aligned and any issues are addressed promptly. Budget and Schedule Management: The Electrical Package Manager is responsible for managing the budget and schedule for all electrical-related activities within the project. This includes tracking expenditures, controlling costs, and making sure the electrical systems are implemented according to the project’s timeline. They also identify any potential delays or risks to the schedule and take corrective actions when necessary. Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensuring that all electrical works adhere to quality standards, codes, and regulations is a critical responsibility. The Electrical Package Manager oversees quality assurance processes, ensuring the electrical systems are installed to meet both internal standards and industry regulations, including safety and environmental requirements. Risk Management and Problem Resolution: The Electrical Package Manager is responsible for identifying potential risks related to electrical systems, such as design changes, procurement delays, or installation issues. They proactively address these risks, propose solutions, and ensure the project stays on track. They are also responsible for resolving any technical or logistical challenges that may arise during the construction phase.
Responsibilities
Must have 3+ Years experience managing Electrical packages on Data Centres or similar large construction projects
Must have relevant electrical degree or equivalent trades background
Must have EU Passport or RTW
Benefits
€80,000-€95,000 + Full rotational package
