Electrical Planner
J.D. Irving
The Electrical Planner will be based out of Macon, Georgia (1897 Allen Road, 31216). Reporting to the Electrical and Instrumentation Team Leader the Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Planner will be responsible for day-to-day planning, prepping, and scheduling of preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance for assigned assets along with coordination of contractor and vendor services under their cognizance.
The main duties/responsibilities of this role include: Plan and schedule electrical maintenance day to day work to include prioritizing jobs, kitting parts, developing timelines, adhering to budget constraints and critiquing maintenance day when complete Identify training needs and develop plans to improve electrical skills Work interactively with the Operation Team, Logistics Team, and Maintenance Leaders to plan and schedule daily/weekly job plans Assist in maintaining change management system and adhering to the process Assist in training E&I group (new and junior employees) in basic troubleshooting of Instrument and Control related issues Function as a resource for trouble shooting equipment issues, both on the floor and through formal issues meetings Make sure that changes made are communicated and aligned with Mill needs Work with the Reliability and Operations Teams to identify/implement ways to improve equipment reliability Develop and maintain job safety analysis program for area of responsibility Work jointly with engineering to facilitate consistency between DCS, PLC, Pi & Parc View systems Assist site electrical engineer with developing, documenting, and train electricians on the following: Arc Flash Safety requirement Support the maintenance escalation plan by answering off-hours phone calls and/or coming on-site to support shift maintenance with equipment repairs to restore production What We Offer Irving Tissue is proud to offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including but not limited to: Medical, Dental, Vision insurance effective 1st of month following start date 401K 100% match at 5% after 90 days of employment Health & wellness reimbursements Employee & family assistance programs Product purchase program Opportunities to take part in job related training and development Growth and progression opportunities within Irving Tissue and the larger network of the J.D.
