Opportunity Snapshot:

Compensation: $35-46/hourLocation: Jal, NMWork Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+Assignment Duration: 6 months+Benefits: Comprehensive medical and dental, 401K, holiday and PTOCompany truck provided Responsibilities Tech shall be responsible for reporting project’s status to their assigned Lead and completing assigned tasksJob Print, GPS Map, KMZ File, Priced Material List, ROW clearing acknowledgementKeep track of your timesheet, time and mileage must be entered at the end of each dayTech is responsible for being efficient and productive in the tasks you are assignedUpon project completion, Tech will inspect construction quality, proper voltage, and housekeeping of every location. There is a final inspection sheet that must be filled out the last day contractor is on location. This is mandatory for quality control and smooth operation Qualifications 2-5 years Powerline experienceFamiliar with OSHA 1926.1407-1411Proficient in Excel, Word, OutlookShall possess an extensive knowledge in all aspects of powerline construction, maintenance and protocol. With working knowledge of reclosers, capacitors, voltage regulators, and transformersShall have the ability to calculate fuse coordination, proper fuse sizing and placement, along with transformer fuse sizing and service wire sizing as per NEC specKnowledge of Right-of-Way standards and the ability to design powerline routes, draft prints, write up materials lists, and stake line as neededProper logging of construction dates, time frames of project completions, maintenance upkeep along with keeping up with emails. Emails shall be answered promptly and professionallyCandidate shall have strong leadership skills as to oversee contractors during construction projects and keep up Client safety standardsSubstation and Transmission construction experience desired
