Service Operations Manager
Your role and responsibilities•\tDiagnose and troubleshoot system components to resolve electrical issues.•\tEnsure that the work is performed in a professional and detailed manner to conform to existing national and local building codes.•\tEnsure work performed is of good workmanship and compliant with current NEC and local codes.•\tWork with the SEAM team and client to fulfill any necessary system repairs to support switchboard upgrades and electrical tie-ins.•\tFollow OSHA, NEC, AHLJ and Utility requirements.•\tFollow all safe work practices.•\tProvide superior customer service and communication throughout the installation.•\tUpload photos and update job status in the company database when work is complete.•\tPerform other related duties, as assigned.•\tDocument work by taking pictures and completing work orders.
Qualifications for the roleOur Electrical Preventative Maintenance Technicians have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:\tAbility to travel 100%. Travel includes but not limited to commercial airlines as well as passenger vehicles.\tAbility to drive a vehicle during the normal course of business. Must maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check.\tAbility to effectively manage work to achieve required timelines.\tStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to listen.\tStrong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.\tAbility to read and interpret single line drawing.\tAbility to operate office equipment including computers and determine accuracy of work.\tAbility to interact with co-workers and participate in meetings.\tMaintain personal hand tools as well as battery operated combo kit.Successful EPM Technicians have the following education and experience:\tMinimum 1 year of electrical preventative maintenance, installation and repair, and experience as licensed field service technician.\tMust be experienced with all required hand and power tools associated with the electrical trade.\tStrong knowledge and experience of conduit bending (EMT) ability to produce quality day after day.\tInfrared windows experience preferred.\tValid Journeyman Electrician’s License.\tWorking knowledge of current NEC codes.\tMust have working knowledge and experience working in and around 480V commercial switchboards. Industrial experience considered a plus.
