Electrical Project Engineer

Electrical Project Engineer Objective The Electrical Project Engineer will play a critical role in the successful execution of capital projects across multiple North American facilities. Key responsibilities include scope development, project execution, and identification of opportunities for improvement. This position requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and a commitment to safety and environmental compliance. Responsibilities Capital Project Execution: Manage and oversee electrical capital projects from inception to completion. Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. Team Leadership: Lead project teams, including contractors and consultants. Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, including electrical design, installation, and troubleshooting. Safety and Environmental Compliance: Ensure adherence to all applicable safety and environmental regulations, including NEC, NFPA, and OSHA standards. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize processes, reduce costs, and improve project efficiency. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including operations, maintenance, and engineering, to achieve project goals. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 5-8 years of relevant engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. Proven track record in project management, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting. Strong technical skills and knowledge of electrical engineering principles and standards. Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP). Experience with industrial control systems (PLC, DCS). Ability to travel extensively within North America. Experience in the chemical or refining industry is preferred. A commitment to safety and environmental sustainability. #M1
