Our client, a premier Contractor, has a requirement for an experienced Electrical QA/QC Manager on a project based in London. This Contractor has become a construction & engineering services provider of choice in growth segments, committed to innovation, excellence, and client satisfaction. As an Electrical QA/QC Manager you will be responsible for managing the Electrical QA/QC procedure, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with project specifications codes & standards.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Develop and implement a comprehensive QA/QC program for electrical installations including policies, procedures, and inspection protocols.
Present the project quality plan for approval to the client.
Establish quality standards & acceptance criteria for electrical work ensuring alignment with project specifications, codes, and standards.
Conduct regular inspections of electrical installations to verify compliance with design drawings, specifications, and regulations.
Implement quality control checks and tests on electrical equipment & systems including HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems.
Work closely with engineers, electrical team, and stakeholders to conduct inspections as needed and review testing reports for accuracy and completeness.
Arrange comprehensive QA/QC documentation for inclusion in project closeout packages and ensure that all required documentation is complete and accurate.
Work together with project teams to address QA/QC related issues and provide timely updates on QA/QC status and progress.
Preparation of weekly QA/QC reports from inspections including issues found and corrective actions implemented.
Participate in QA/QC meetings and contribute to the best of your knowledge.
Degree/qualification in Electrical/Building Services Engineering or related field.
Electrical trade background is beneficial.
Proven experience in QA/QC management roles within construction.
Strong understanding of electrical installation & commissioning.
Strong organisation, communication, planning and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in QA/QC management software and tools.
