**Job Title: Electrical QC** Richmond, VA area **Description** + Conduct inspections to ensure compliance and conformance with project or contract specifications + Conduct inspections in accordance with Quality Control Plan + Conduct inspections to ensure adherence to applicable legal requirements + Confer with Quality Assurance, Manager as appropriate + Read blueprints and specifications + Monitor operations to ensure that they meet specifications + Recommend adjustments to the assembly or installation process + Inspect, identify, and submit material, components, or products for testing and measurement + Operate electronic inspection equipment and software + Document approval or rejection of inspected material, components, or products + Identify for removal all components, products and materials that fail to meet specifications + Report inspection and test data and quantities inspected + Participate in Initial Inspection to assure all required/approved materials, personnel and equipment are available, verify the site conditions, inspect the initial installation of the work and identify the required level of workmanship, quality, and safety measures + Participate in Follow-up Inspections continuously to insure professional workmanship, quality and safety in accordance with contract documents. **Skills** Electrical, Conduit, Wiring, Construction, Conduit bending, Pulling wire, Bending conduit, Electrical wiring **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Must be certified Journeyman Electrician or able to obtain within 6 months + At least 6 years hands-on experience in construction, estimation, and/or quality control activities. + Experience with reading and interpreting contractual requirements, drawings, BIM models, specifications, current NEC codes, NETA and other applicable standards + Experience with receiving, production, shipping and quality processes. + Excellent communication skills (written, and verbal) + Strong attention to details, highly organized and computer skills + Ability to work well in a fast-paced manufacturing environment **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $74880.00/yr. this position pays $30 for non carded, and $32 for carded electrician. since it is a direct hire, they would make the $4 rate on top of base wage from the beginning. this position also would include OT hours on weekend if they would like **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Sandston,VA. **Application Deadline** This position is anticipated to close on Feb 14, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
