**Job Title: Electrical QC** **Job Type:** Direct Hire **Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical QC Inspector to join our team. This role offers a fantastic advancement opportunity for a field electrician looking to transition into quality control. The position involves a balanced mix of fieldwork and office-based tasks (50/50). **Key Responsibilities:** + Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with project or contract specifications. + Perform inspections in accordance with the Quality Control Plan. + Ensure adherence to applicable legal requirements. + Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Manager as needed. + Read and interpret blueprints and specifications. + Monitor operations to ensure they meet specifications. + Recommend adjustments to the assembly or installation process. + Inspect, identify, and submit materials, components, or products for testing and measurement. + Operate electronic inspection equipment and software. + Document approval or rejection of inspected materials, components, or products. + Identify and remove components, products, and materials that fail to meet specifications. + Report inspection and test data, and quantities inspected. + Participate in initial inspections to verify site conditions, materials, personnel, and equipment. + Conduct follow-up inspections to ensure professional workmanship, quality, and safety. **Skills and Qualifications:** + Certified Journeyman Electrician or ability to obtain certification within 6 months. + Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in construction, estimation, and/or quality control activities. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting contractual requirements, drawings, BIM models, specifications, NEC codes, NETA, and other applicable standards. + Experience with receiving, production, shipping, and quality processes. + Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). + Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and proficient in computer skills. + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. **Top Skills:** + Electrical + Conduit + Wiring + Construction + Conduit bending + Pulling wire + Bending conduit + Electrical wiring + Strong attention to details, highly organized and computer skills + Ability to work well in a fast-paced manufacturing environment **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $74880.00/yr. this position pays $30 for non carded, and $32 for carded electrician. since it is a direct hire, they would make the $4 rate on top of base wage from the beginning. this position also would include OT hours on weekend if they would like **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Sandston,VA. **Application Deadline** This position is anticipated to close on Feb 28, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
