**Job Description Summary** The Senior Electrical Engineer in this role is an individual contributor with deep expertise in electrical and electro-mechanical systems focused on sustaining existing BD’s flagship Medication Cabinets. This is an exciting role that will require both your strong technical and leadership skills to effectively work with your peers and leadership across functional groups, global CM partners and suppliers that will challenge you to organize and measure the best of your energies and skills. **Job Description** 1. Lead technical projects as a subject matter expert and a leader on variety of reclamation projects relating to sustaining of the medical dispensing system from component to sub-assemblies, to a system level in supporting the product lifecycle management. 2. Understand datasheets, conduct circuit analysis and qualify reclaimed components and sub-assemblies. 3. Execute Engineering Change Orders consistent with company’s policies. 4. Conduct failure investigation consistent with DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Implement, Control) and best engineering practices, continuously improving quality. 5. Lead/contribute to Failure investigation / CAP (Corrective Action Preventive Action) 6. Define/execute test methodology and test coverage to assure product reliability. 7. Lead validation and verification for reclaimed components and sub-assemblies. 8. Expertise in the use of standard electronic laboratory equipment, such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers etc. 9. Have hardware and software design and integration experience. 10. Develop reclamation specifications, operating procedures, acceptance and validation test plans and protocols and Has knowledge of IPC standards having to do with design and manufacture of PCBAs.
