Base Pay Range: $70,700.00 - $120,200.00 Annually

Group/Division

The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Responsibilities

Crafts electrical parts, modules and subsystems

Responsible for the complete design process, including prototype design, engineering material procurement, hands-on testing, spec validation, design review, design release and handoff to manufacturing

Work with multi-functional groups such as mechanical, software, systems, and manufacturing engineers to define system and subsystem requirement specifications

Apply systems engineering principles to optimize new design at system and subsystem level

Requirements

Solid knowledge of electrical engineering design principles, analog/digital and mixed signal design at the theoretical and practical implementation level

Must have good track record of driving executions

Excellent verbal and written communications

Hands-on experience with lab equipment like logic analyzer, oscilloscope, etc.

Self-motivated, dedicated and a strong teammate

Strong leadership skills

Be able to lead and work with internal and external customers and suppliers

Be able to work with a global engineering team and other multi-functional collaborators

Be able to run multiple development projects simultaneously and lead other engineers to drive specific design tasks

A good sense of understanding project priority dynamics, business urgency and risk impacts

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge and experience in prototyping and development of electrical systems and subsystems.

Ability to diagnose problems and hands-on troubleshooting experience for complex electrical subsystems.

Experience in schematic capture, and PCB board layout tools such as OrCAD & Cadence Allegro is a plus.

Experience with FPGA design and implementation is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years
