This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration heavy-lift launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to Earth’s orbit and beyond. Engineered with a reusable first stage and a seven-meter payload fairing, New Glenn is building the road to space.
As part of a diverse and hardworking team of specialists, you will act as the Electrical Project Manager for electrical ground systems within the Test and Flight Operations portfolio. This role requires collaboration with internal and external design teams and subcontractors to manage and coordinate construction and developing operational plans and procedures. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of design, procurement, fabrication, installation, and testing. As the Electrical Project Manager, you will coordinate with Architects and Engineers of Record along with Blue engineers as needed for construction execution, design review, design or intent change integration. In this role you will coordinate with the construction contractors to maintain all schedule milestones, manage and approve request for information and submittals, review cost estimates and change orders, execute procurements process for unbought scope, and review/disposition non-conformances.

Minimum Qualifications:
B.S degree in engineering or equivalent experience7+ years of relevant experienceExperience with electrical distribution design, hazardous area classification, load balancing, single-line diagrams, design documentation, construction drawings, construction bid solicitation, contractor selection, construction management, field superintendence, permitting, QA/QCExperience with commissioning, operating, and maintenance of power systemsCandidate must be able to lift/carry up to fifty pounds.
