Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to work in our Mid-Atlantic region (VA/DC/MD). 

Summary

This position requires a candidate strongly versed in the heavy industrial/commercial and equipment electrical trade.  Projects to include temporary jobsite service, maintenance of existing services, set up and maintenance of jobsite security systems, and marine and land  based electrical systems on various equipment to include dredge barges, boats, generators, weld machines and pumps.

AC and DC voltage distribution and controls and troubleshooting.Ability to read electrical schematicsPipe bending and layoutNational Electric CodeBasic knowledge of motor controls.Security system installs and troubleshootingCommunication system installs, setup and maintenanceGood troubleshooting skillsGood work ethic and the ability to work through problems with the end in mind.Good communication skills and ability to work alone or in a group.Good mechanical skills.Ability to be flexible and learn new systems, applying what you already know.CDL license preferred but not required; Valid driver’s license requiredAvailable to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Education and Qualifications

Two-year technical degree in the electrical trade or equivalent5 years of experience or more preferred

Expected base pay range for this positions is:   $30.00/hr - $38.00/hr

This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Kokosing at the time of the posting.  Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate.
