**Electrical Technician **Weekly Pay**** **Pay and Shift** $27-$33 M-F 7:00am-3:30pm **Job Description** As an Electrical Technician, you will layout and create physical control box features by drilling, tapping, and hole punching as illustrated by schematics. You will assemble complete control panel boxes by installing relays, circuit breakers, HMIs, plugs, switches, solenoids, wire ways, din rails, terminal blocks/strips, grounding points, and other components following electrical schematics, drawings, and related documentation. Additionally, you will conduct functionality and continuity tests of electrical assemblies as required, promptly report material shortages and schematic/BOM issues, and perform plant maintenance activities within the scope of your capabilities. **Responsibilities** + Run electrical conduit and install electrical wiring and assembly of components in control cabinets, industrial equipment, and related industrial apparatus according to blueprints and wiring diagrams. + Layout and create physical control box features by drilling, tapping, and hole punching as schematics illustrate. + Assemble complete control panel boxes including installing relays, circuit breakers, HMIs, plugs, switches, solenoids, wire ways, din rails, terminal blocks/strips, grounding points, etc. by following electrical schematics, drawings, and other related documentation. + Conduct functionality and continuity tests of electrical assemblies as required. + Promptly report material shortages and schematic/BOM issues. + Perform plant maintenance activities within the scope of capabilities. **Essential Skills** + High school education required; Technical School certificate in an electrical discipline is highly desired. + Solid knowledge and understanding of electricity and electro-mechanical components. + 2-4 years of experience assembling electrical control panels and boxes. + Familiarity and understanding of NFPA70 NEC electrical standards. + Ability to read, understand, and follow electrical schematics and engineering drawings. + Working knowledge of pneumatic and electrical assemblies. + Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, safety, and efficienc **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $33.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
