Summary: Seeking an Electrical Technician to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
Job Requirements:
Accredited technical school or apprenticeship preferred
Two years of technical education in electronics or five years of related experience
Proficiency in electronic and PLC technology and programming
Familiarity with electrical theory, NEC codes, OSHA standards
Experience with voltage up to 480 volts three-phase
Knowledge of electrical trade practices, methods, tools, equipment, and materials
Preferred Skills:
Computer skills and PLC programming
Auto-CAD drawings of circuit boards
Job Responsibilities:
Design and engineer electrical circuits, controls, wiring for new installations/upgrades
Write specifications for component purchase; work with vendors for compatibility
Oversee installation, troubleshooting, repair of electrical installations
Perform hands-on work; install, alter, maintain electrical systems/equipment
Analyze and correct power failures, short circuits, electrical problems
Maintain safety standards; comply with statutory codes and OSHA requirements
Attend training to stay updated on latest technologies
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
