Job Title: Electrical Technician

Job Description

This individual will use prints and schematics to complete point-to-point wiring on complex control cases and machines. They will use a voltmeter to troubleshoot and repair any electrical issues and assist the mechanical assembly department in hooking up panels on mining equipment. The role involves working with various types of equipment for the mining industry and handling systems up to 4160V, requiring knowledge of high voltage systems.

ResponsibilitiesRead prints and schematics to complete point-to-point wiring.Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs.Test voltage using a voltmeter.Assemble electrical components, including 480V, 3-phase wiring, and electric motors.Conduct electrical installations and repair electrical components.Essential SkillsExperience with electrical wiring, electrical schematics, and electrical troubleshooting.Proficiency in electrical assembly and mechanical troubleshooting.Ability to read and interpret schematics.Experience with high voltage systems up to 4160V.Minimum of 3 years of experience with high voltage systems or an electrical degree/license.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with electric motors and electrical installations.Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.Ability to train on 2nd shift.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is a non-climate-controlled shop, which is well-kept but can be dirty due to the nature of the work on mining equipment. Employees must be comfortable working on 2nd shift and handling various electrical systems, including high voltage.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lebanon, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $62000.00
