Job Description
Ensure electrical systems and connections are safe and running at utmost efficiency. Troubleshoot and coordinate electrical issues with machines and maintenance, along with fault messages. Perform routine maintenance on production equipment and repairs when needed. Address hardware connection issues and operate software glitches specific to presses, uncoilers, and straighteners. Test electrical and electronic equipment for continuity, current voltage, and assist in checking new equipment and systems, available to repair and/or maintain older, pre-existing systems. Repair large electrical equipment such as industrial fans and motors. Maintain logs, record labor, materials, and equipment used. Calibrate and check instruments, make advanced repairs and adjustments to electrical devices, and perform basic mechanical repairs as necessary. Conduct advanced preventative maintenance on all assigned machinery. Successfully troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems. Read and interpret specifications and blueprints. Install, service, and repair conduits, wiring, and fixtures. Work with programmable logic/automation control.

Work Environment
First shift from 6am-2pm, with some days starting at 5:30am due to training and lead position requirements. Occasional overtime, including some Saturdays. Work within a maintenance team of 18, with 7 other technicians on the first shift. Dress code includes jeans and long sleeves.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00
