**Job Title: Electrical Technician**
**Job Description**
The role of the Electrical Technician is to perform electrical wiring, assembly, and electrical installs and hookups for all products.
**Responsibilities**
+ Maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and continuously improve electrical systems as assigned throughout the shop.
+ Perform all electrical wiring and electrical hookups for products including circuit breakers, heating elements, fans, sinks, lighting, etc.
+ Perform new equipment installation and major failure installs; running conduit, wiring from cradle to grave.
+ Complete and submit electrical/electronic parts requests.
+ Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all electrical issues as needed.
+ Analyze circuits, wiring, and ladder diagrams to install and repair circuits.
+ Install and test electrical systems and control circuits.
+ Install and set up A/C and D/C drives.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Electrical degree from Technical College
+ Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and ladder diagrams
+ Experience with residential or commercial electrical wiring; point to point electrical components, circuit breakers, etc.
+ Experience and ability wiring machinery per instruction or engineered drawings
+ Experience performing final hook up of electrical components
+ Ability to use electrical test equipment
+ Demonstrated knowledge of PLC components and functions
+ Effective ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with engineers and other team members
+ Experience with 200-280 volt or higher
+ Ability to install and set up A/C and D/C drives

**Work Environment**
This is a 1st shift opening from 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday. No overtime available while on contract, but after contract duration, employees can work up to 2-3 hours of overtime per week. The shop environment is non climate controlled with fans and bay doors for ventilation. In the summer, the shop can reach up to about 90 degrees, and in the winter, it is roughly in the 50s. This is a job shop environment with low rate production and is not the standard machine shop environment. Shop machinery includes 2 CNC Okuma Mills, 1 CNC Okuma Lathe, 1 CNC Haas Mill, CNC Router, Manual Mill, and Manual Lathe.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, Missouri.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00
