**Job Title: Electrical Technician** **Job Description** Our client designs all of the nation's telephone news and homeland security vehicles. They are expanding their team and looking to hire 2 electrical technicians. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing customer issues on specialized communication vehicles for the TV News Industry, Law Enforcement, and Government Agencies. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot and repair customer issues on specialized communication vehicles. + Work on electrical and electronic equipment as well as electro-mechanical and vehicle structural issues. + Perform vehicle upgrades through undercarriage wiring, mast removal, and rebuilding. + Repair alternators and MEPS systems. + Build custom roof decks. + Regulate satellite technology on vehicles. + Install, program, and test equipment for ENG, SNG, and production vehicles. **Essential Skills** + Experience troubleshooting and correcting electrical, electro-mechanical, and calibration problems. + Strong mechanical experience (automotive mechanic experience is applicable). + Wiring harnesses. + Crimping cables. + Reading schematics. + Wiring cables. + Must have own tools. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Apprentice electrician (nice to have). **Why Work Here?** The television news and homeland security market remains extremely healthy, providing stability and a constantly evolving work environment.
